Deploying Static Sites on Netlify
This month we have a talk on static site development and deployment by Daragh O'Shea, a Tech Startup Consultant from Dublin
Most PHP websites and applications are backed by a database, however many websites, including blogs, don't necessarily need a database.
In this talk, you will learn how to build a static site using a small PHP framework called Jigsaw (http://jigsaw.tighten.co/). You'll learn how to quickly deploy your site on Netlify (https://www.netlify.com/). Finally, you will learn how to setup a continuous development and automatic deploys using git triggers.
